Motorola Droid (หรือ Motorola Milestone สำหรับเวอร์ชัน GSM) ได้รับรางวัล Gadget of the year (Reader และ Editor's choice) และ Smartphone of the year (Reader's Choice เท่านั้น) จาก Engadget และของที่มาด้วยกันคือ Google Map บน Motorola Droid ได้รางวัลเป็น GPS Device of the year (ทั้ง Reader และ Editor's choice เช่นกัน)
